Raf Simons x Fred Perry Celebrates Tenth Season

Though many names have accompanied the embossed floral that is Laurel Wreath, Fred Perry‘s high-end collection, few titles have as much fashion weight—or bold refinement—than that of Raf Simons. So it would make perfect sense that the designer’s tenth collaboration with the athletic-born brand is his strongest one yet. Continuing in Simons’ asymmetrical vision from Spring/Summer 2014, the new 27-piece Raf Simons x Fred Perry FW14 collection offers swatches of life bathed in bold color-bled canvases, while also restricted in chunky blocks. Traditional desaturations of fall are replaced atop knits and polos with retro Raf shades: royal blues, plums, blood oranges, and deep burgundies. Paired with wide cuts and straight silhouettes that homage Fred Perry’s early ’90s design, the colors blossom in a collection that shows Simons’ eternal youth.
