A Look Inside Dover Street’s Latest New Beginning

Dover Street Market New York recently unveiled its second yearly “New Beginning” renovation, transforming the eight floor outpost by reconfiguring certain designers’ space with new interior cues, installations and the latest season’s merchandise, as well as some limited edition pieces exclusive to the shop.
This season, Dover Street Market welcomes new spaces and installations by designers such as Gosha Rubchinsky, NikeLab, Simone Rocha, Prada and of course, Comme des Garçons. Additionally, the top floor highlights the latest Gucci pieces including its home decor. Although creative director Rei Kawakubo is in charge of all Comme des Garçons and common spaces, designers were given complete creative freedom to ensure that their spaces reflected their brand’s personal image.
