WATCH: Ben Sherman’s Short Film ‘Parachute’
We grew up being told “the sky is the limit,” but with Ben Sherman‘s Parachute, an introspectively beautiful short that celebrates the brand’s latest Spring/Summer 2014 Collection, “Plectrum,” that is clearly not the case. Inspired by the drag and aerodynamic lift of parachutes that roam the sky, the collection uses the skeleton and internal structure of these vessels as well as their geometric prints and unconventional fabrics as a point of reference. What results is a series of light parkas, graphic sky-printed tees, and engineered shorts that are as striking in motion up in the air as they are simply just in the office.
