From the hottest celebrity parties to the regretful morning-after shots, ESSENTIAL HOMME‘s Weekly Instagram Roundup brings all of the hottest designer, model, and trendsetting pics from the week directly to you. After all, no one has time to scroll through anything but the best.

Kim Jones

Louis Vuitton Men’s Artistic Director Kim Jones snapped a first look at his new monogrammed holdall, releasing in January 2018. Sitting pretty aboard a taxiing private jet in Arizona, the latest graphic beauty accompanied Jones on a quick jaunt to Wyoming luxury getaway resort Amangani.

Glen Luchford

Set phasers to stun as photographer Glen Luchford chose to showcase his accompanying video for Gucci‘s out-of-this-world Autumn/Winter 2017 campaign. Featuring an unofficial soundtrack, the iconic “Star Trek” opener, the visual stitches together ’50s sci-fi imagery for a film that takes viewers to Gucci and beyond.

Pharrell

Multi-hyphenate mogul Pharrell highlighted the latest update to his Tennis Hu line, following the early May release of the original kicks. Debuting four new hues that are available now, the footwear, crafted alongside adidas Originals, is a colorful rerelease that incorporates prismatic flair into its Primeknit weave.

Kristian Einla

Model Kristian Einla brought innocence to Love Moschino with a look at the label’s new Autumn/Winter 2017 campaign. Lensed by photographer Giampaolo Sgura, who also shot the wet-and-wild Spring/Summer 2016 prints, the grayscale imagery ushers in a new, toned down visual for the loud and proud brand, showcasing a subtlety reflected in the Pleasantville-esque vibe.

Dior Homme

Run, don’t walk to your nearest Dior boutique as the French brand releases its Autumn/Winter 2017 collection. With a name like HARDIOR, not to mention the David Sims-shot campaign, the release carries a hardened weight, one that stands true in its brooding palette and eye-catching embellishments to match.

Vivienne Westwood Autumn/Winter 2017 Campaign

Vivienne Westwood AW17

Always on the razor-edge of political opinion, Vivienne Westwood tackles sustainability and green energy in its Autumn/Winter 2017 campaign. With a unisex duality and a narrative of intellectuals and adventure, the visuals feature the photographic eye of Maria Ziegelboeck amidst the antics of the National Centre for Circus Arts and models Carl Hjelm and Sofia Fanego—angst-riddled imagery that dismantles and disarms.

Gucci Expands Art Wall Project Alongside Coco Capitán

Gucci Art Wall

Coco Capitán‘s relationship with Gucci continues to flourish as the brand enlists the typographic artist for its Art Wall Project, following their joint Fall 2017 collection.

An initiative launched to celebrate collaborations between the Italian label and creatives worldwide, the project sees the Spanish artist’s designs feature on a 2,500 square foot wall on Lafayette Street in New York, as well as in Milan’s Largo la Foppa, reading “what are we going to do with all this future?” and “common sense is not that common,” respectively. Underscoring fear and uncertainty for the future, Capitán’s distinct style, prolific enough to spawn a host of copycats, including Drake’s “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late” album cover, is a hastily scrawled, ominous message that provides a peek into the darker energy behind Gucci’s ultra-luxe image.

Weekly Instagram Roundup: Jon Batiste, Parke & Ronen and More

This week’s complete social snapshot, distilled for your pleasure.

From the hottest celebrity parties to the regretful morning-after shots, ESSENTIAL HOMME‘s Weekly Instagram Roundup brings all of the hottest designer, model, and trendsetting pics from the week directly to you. After all, no one has time to scroll through anything but the best.

Jon Batiste

New York Fashion Week Men’s Ambassador Jon Batiste shared a backstage pic from Raf Simons‘ star-studded Spring/Summer 2018 runway. The musician and band leader for “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” who follows a self-professed “traditional with a twist” style, utilized the opportunity to return to his sartorial passion, embracing his moniker by touting custom-made and pattern-heavy pieces throughout the event.

Roger Federer

Swiss tennis player Roger Federer made history as he hoisted the Gentleman’s Singles Trophy at Wimbledon this week. Winning the London championship for the eighth time, a record, the sports star secured his 19th major victory and looked good while doing it—a preference for Nike on the court and black tie off his staple styles.

Pirelli

Pirelli showcased its much anticipated calendar update, re-imagining “Alice in Wonderland” for 2018. Shot by photographer Tim Walker, the latest iteration from the high-octane vehicle brand features the likes of Djimon Hounsou, Lupito Nyong’O, Sean Combs, and Naomi Campbell for a luxurious trip down the rabbit hole.

Parke & Ronen

After walking a Spring/Summer 2018 collection of saturated pop down the NYFWM runway, Parke & Ronen celebrated in style backstage, toasting its 20th anniversary alongside one half of its founding team. Initially launched from a vest design venture, the past two decades have seen the brand grow to embrace both European haute couture and simplistic design.

Prada

Harry Styles‘ latest gig, starring in Christopher Nolan’s World War II epic “Dunkirk,” brought the popstar to France, revisiting the namesake locale for the film’s must-attend premiere. Wearing Prada‘s Spring/Summer 2018 collection, Styles chose to accentuate the daring sea-foam look with minimal accessories and a steely gaze.

Reacting to a heightened political climate, Represent showcased Wide Awake for Spring/Summer 2018, a mashup of ’90s subculture and the British war era. With the devil in the details, the line utilized a grim palette of black, port, and ivory to tell a story of passion—the brand’s intrinsic tartan and wool ever present.
