1. The exact time I was born is unknown. My mother gave birth to me in a moving vehicle going 90 miles an hour on the Bronx River Highway.
2. That’s also why even though I go by Shaun, my real name is Nissan because I was born in a Nissan 240sx.
3. The lump on my nose is a benign section of extra skin tissue that I’ve had since birth.
4. Counting back five generations, I am the only person in my family with albinism.
5. A couple of months before I was born, my grandma said to my mom, “I had a dream about your baby and he is going to come out with a head full of gold.” After my mother delivered me in the car, the first thing she saw was a head full of gold hair and was shocked.

6. I sleep like a cat: in one spot without any movements or sounds. People don’t usually realize that I’m in the room if I’m asleep… or sometimes even think I’m dead.
7. My mother was a model, and still managed to have a career after having my two older siblings, but after I was born she stopped. Eventually, I became the only child out of four who organically picked up modeling after her.
8. I don’t have any birthmarks.
9. I believe in a world not like ours, which has always kept me searching for more. So when I was asked to play E.T. in Katy Perry’s music video, it made sense because I’ve always felt like an extraterrestrial life form trying to find its way back home. I still feel this way today.
10. I’m legally blind… so POP Hold it Down. A bit of humor, but I actually am.
Ri-Ri isn’t scared of Katy Perry’s roaring
Queen B’s going back to the drawing
Lorde smells blood, yeah, she’s about to slay you
Kid ain’t one to fuck with when she’s only on her debut
We’re all watching Gaga, L-O-L-O, haha
Dying for the art, so really she’s a martyr
The second best will never cut it for the divas
Give me that crown, bitch, I wanna be Sheezus
She is born again. Now run along and tell all of your friends to come and join her. Give yourself to her. She is our leader. Let her be Sheezus. Nope, it’s not the long-awaited Avatar-sequel; it’s the equally long-awaited follow-up to 2009’s It’s Not Me, It’s You — the title track, Sheezus, off Lily Allen’s upcoming third studio album (out May 6th). Rolling Stone caught up with the pop star recently to ask her if she was worried that the song’s lyrics would be misinterpreted as pop star mutiny. “It’s completely the opposite of that, though,” she countered, “I’m saying that I want all of them to be Sheezus, and I want to be Sheezus too.”
With a song and video like this, the throne better heighten security. Watch Allen slay:
Paris Hilton, Minnie Driver, David Hasslehoff, Diddy, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Katy Perry — how’s that for a line-up — are just a gaggle of the starstuds and studettes that cavorted at the first weekend of this year’s Coachella Music Festival in Indio, California. And while some adopted a #Nochella attitude about this year’s proceedings, many stars are embracing their fauxhemian ways, outfitted in their Cali-desert finest and enjoying a slice of “we’re just like everybody else” realness. Roll call:
Paris Hilton:
Not familiar with Scott Eastwood (yet)? Congrats, you’re part of a slowly fading majority that will soon embrace the youthiest of the Eastwood boys. At 27 years old, he’s following in his dad’s (Clint Eastwood) footsteps appearing in flicks Gran Torino and Invictus. But it’s not a daddy’s little boy scenario entirely, 2014 will see Eastwood starring alongside Brad Pitt, Shia “I’m not famous anymore” LaBeouf, and Logan Lerman in David Ayer’s Fury. The actors most noteworthy credit to date, however, might be his February 2014 cover of Town & Country, which placed him at the apex of its “Top 50 Bachelors.” We decided to creep his Instagram and find his ten best moments from the year so far (in chronological order by date). Here’s what we came up with:

We spoke with singer (and Katy Perry’s Roar co-writer) Bonnie McKee, Olympic bronze medalist and hurdling world champion David Oliver, Broadway actor (currently starring in Disney’s Newsies) Andrew Keenan Bolger, and founder and creative director of PRPS Donwan Harrell. The prompt was simple: Tell us what what was at the top of your want list for Christmas.
Bonnie McKee: “Fuji Instax camera with fun film cartridges. They’re great for parties or intimate moments. It’s nice to have a picture you can hold!”
David Oliver: “I would have to say the Craftsman Drill and Driver Kit. When I’m not on the track, I practically live in Home Depot. Changing and adding fixtures to my home is definitely a hobby of mine that I enjoy.”
Andrew Keenan-Bolger: “On a recent trip back to my dad’s house I discovered a box in the attic containing his old vinyl collection. My apartment is now filled with the sounds of Pete Seeger and John Denver by way of my Crosley Revolution Turntable, an innovative and portable player that preserves the nostalgic sound but with a modern and eye-catching design.”
Donwan Harrell: “Summer is a time for revving the engine in my muscles cars and lighting the grill for some good southern grub. This is certainly the best of two worlds all in one!”
And there you have it. Hope had a Merry Christmas.

When fashion stylist to Katy Perry, Johnny Wujek, first took over as the new creative consultant for America’s Next Top Model, viewers’ eyes quickly passed over eagerly competing models and moved onto his head. And not without good reason (sorry Tyra!). In the challenges that followed his reality TV debut, Wujek made it tradition to don a snapback that boldly played off each week’s theme: “turn it on” read his cap during a particular push for sex appeal (no pun intended); in this past season’s GUESS sponsored-finale, the brand’s logo was spotlighted on his head. Now, Wujek has taken his love for hats and tongue-in-cheek humor to collaborate with menswear brand Gents on a limited-edition capsule collection. A teaser of the collection (four caps below) is now available online, with a full collection release online and in-store starting July 2014. Now the tops of your heads can be on top too.

A few realities that come with being Jerry Seinfeld—besides the prolific career—include: having a bombshell slash New York Times bestselling author for a wife, a bevvy of syndication ka-ching ka-ching, friends in high places, and of course, a devout faith in Judaism. These all converged over the weekend when Jerry’s daughter Sascha celebrated her בת מצוה (Bat Mizvah) two weeks after her 13th birthday. Guests like George Stephanopoulos, Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos, Andy Cohen, and more were present to help welcome her to “adulthood”.
The VMA’s landed in Brooklyn last night (first time) for an action-packed two-and-a-half hour ode to artists, musicianship, and some dude named Austin Mahone. Gaga opened the hostless show, successfully placing the kabosh on recent backlash (for the moment), with a powerful career-spanning performance/fantasia of her new single Applause. Jared Leto rocked long hair. Miley Cyrus danced (DANCED) with Beetlejuice. Daft Punk wore the helmets. Taylor Swift had the best night of her life ever. NSYNC reunited for thirty seconds. So did 4/5’s of Danity Kane. Kim Kardashian’s baby’s father had the best performance of the night according to Kardashian. Rihanna (who skipped the red carpet altogether) pricelessly spilled popcorn on her friend’s lap. Katy Perry performed her “biggest song ever,” Bruno Mars sang his little face off, and Lil’ Kim was there, too (seriously). The surviving members of TLC, T-Boz and Chilli, were on hand to introduce Drake.
The live tweeting was something of its own show. Case in point: This. This. & This.
And this:
Why is everyone acting like Brooklyn is, like, Narnia or some mythical place? There are a lot of people who are there every day, guys. #VMAs

And this:
VMAs: Stop all this “what’s up Brooklyn!!!” What’s up is I’m 10 blocks away in my nightgown trying to keep my dog from drinking his own piss

What might have gone unnoticed was a Beats X Eminem commercial subtly announcing the title and release date of his upcoming album, MMLP2 (or The Marshall Mathers LP Pt. 2). The album will drop November 5th, but the lead single, Berzerk will drop tomorrow and was sampled briefly in the commercial seen here:

What’s more American than Apple Pie, George Washington and maybe Katy Perry’s cupcake exploding bra? Not much, but up there is a new limited edition collaboration between two iconic American brands—Red Wing Heritage and Brooks Brothers—that launches exclusively at Brooks Brothers on October 20th. The collab, which is quite simply called the Heritage Boot 4553, takes Red Wing’s traditional 6″ moc-toe shape and adds durable Halley Stevensons tartan plaid oilcloth in the quarter panel, upping the style factor in a way that’s also sensible. Hard not to love. More news—the Heritage Boot 4553 will launch starting tomorrow (October 11), at a history making traveling trunk show that’ll have, for the first time since the early 1900’s (not a typo) direct sales from actual, real-life Red Wing representatives of the entire Red Wing Heritage collection. Their people pointed us here for an interesting read about how turn of the century Red Wing used employ dudes called Shoe Dogs to travel the country wearing their famed boots and helped establish the brand as one of America’s finest footwear companies—maybe one of the first viral campaigns in American History? Anyway, head to the Brooks Brother’s store at 901 Broadway from Thursday, October 11 till Sunday, October 14th for the official launch and first offering of the boot. Not in the area, they’re traveling North America, so check out the full schedule after the jump. And if you’re just lazy, the Heritage Boot 4553 will be online starting October 20th.
October 11 – Flatiron, New York City
October 19 – Royal Bank, Toronto, ON
October 20 – Bloor Street, Toronto, ON
October 20 – Georgetown, Washington, DC
October 20 – Maple Grove, MN
November 10 – Newbury Street, Boston, MA
November 16 – Princeton, NJ
November 17 – Durham, NC
You probably know the Blonds for dressing some of the world’s most beautiful/fashionable pop stars (Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Playboy bunnies, ect…) in their signature corsets and sparkly, girly things. Recently, they’ve thrown some boys looks into the mix—including a pearl and jewel print biker short and matching tank, a really cool leather shark fin hat and some sparkly speedos with a curiously positioned lipstick appliqué fashioned to the front. “We wanted the guys to be as glamorous as the girls…” say designers David and Phillipe Blond. Fair enough, and really, you might be able to pull off some of this stuff in a glamorous way, at least if you happen to have the perfect bodies of their male models. But, you probably won’t be running around town in their jewel encrusted men’s breast plate, that is, unless, you are the male version of Lady Gaga (or Adam Lambert, who was sitting front row, not far from Paris Hilton). In which case, then, you know… actually, you probably should give The Blonds a call. They love to do custom work.
