After the smash success of their first partnership earlier this summer, NikeLab – the seminal sportswear brand’s offshoot – and Kim Jones – Louis Vuitton artistic director – partner for Packable Sport Style – Drop 2. Aiming to seamlessly blend the busy traveling lifestyle of today’s athlete with high-tech performance wear, Drop 2 is an inventively designed collection with wearable ease. This time focusing on Nike’s Tech Fleece innovation, lightweight warmth takes center stage as the first cold wisps of winter begins to blow in.

A modern aesthetic drawn from fiber-dyed heather, the seams of the jacket are completely minimized and virtually nonexistent for extra comfort and cleaner design. Of course the term “packable” is hardly just a moniker – straps on the interior of the jacket allow the piece to be rolled up for easy storage and travel. Similar to this design, the NikeLab Bomber Jacket, included within the collection, carries its own detachable neck cord and reversible construction, aiming for ease of use and transportability. The muted exterior opens to a neon-colored liner that is eye-catching and is similar to other colorways utilized by Nike in recent releases. The collection also includes the return of the NikeLab Air Zoom LWP x Kim Jones in new color palettes and a campaign featuring Anthony Ogogo, the renowned British boxer, and Adelle Tracey, the legendary British middle-distance runner.
NikeLab x Kim Jones Drop 2 will be available online starting September 22, 2016.
