Mykita x Maison Margiela Add New Shape to Raw Collection

Mykita and Maison Margiela are continuing their partnership with a new addition to the Raw collection, a series of unpolished acetate frames removed from production in its early stages. The MMRAW004 takes the signature shape of the series to the extreme, widening the keyhole nose bridge, and setting the top line of the glasses firmly straight. The shape comes in five neutral colors, four solid–black, champagne, coconut, and peridot—and a marbled green pair, hints of lime brightening up the frames. The look, paired with the unfinished materials, is both severe and effortless, resulting in a seriously statement-making pair of shades, the goal of the partnership since its fruition two years ago. The duo has released four collections, Essential, Dual, Transfer, and Raw, with frames mirroring the innovation of the two houses in both design and technology.
