Elusive and iconic actor Keanu Reeves has won the world over with his mysterious nature and appearances in modern classics like My Own Private Idaho and The Matrix. Ahead of his new John Wick film (out May 17) comes an even more ambitious role for the 54-year old actor: the face of Saint Laurent‘s Fall ’19 menswear line. Under the artistic direction of Anthony Vaccarello, Reeves poses for three stark and statuesque black-and-white portraits (shot by David Sims), decked out in the designer’s latest line. With his brooding good looks and aloof charm, it’s simply the role he was born to play.
