Celine’s Coats Get the Christian Marclay Upgrade
Celine has commissioned artist Christian Marclay to makeover some of its signature pieces. The Swiss-American artist, known for his dynamic pop art style, updated some of the French label’s rocker-chic looks with comic book fervor, adding a loud and fresh voice to the almost too-cool-for-you look that Celine has harnessed under Hedi Slimane’s reign. Some standouts include sequin blouses and leather jackets with graphic art on the back, as well as a series of printed sneakers. With superheroes all the rage these days, it’s the perfect collection to shop before heading into Avengers: Endgame. (I heard it’s pretty good.)
