J. W. Anderson x Gilbert & George Launch Capsule Collection

J.W. Anderson, channels the 80s in a new capsule collection made in collaboration with art duo, Gilbert & George. According to a statement, the new collection creates a “marriage of British eccentricities and traditions,” centered around the artists’ work reimagined from the 80s.

Prints of Guard Plants (1980), Dog Boy (1980), and Heavy (1988) are branded across the entire collection, evoking the subversive themes of 80’s East End of London. The capsule collection is comprised of several pieces including leather jackets, printed tops and short combos, t-shirts, sweats, and a series of accessories. In celebration, The Pleasure Book for Boys with JW Anderson and Gilbert & George will be released following the collection on December 19th. The book, photographed by Alasdair McLellan, styled by Benjamin Bruno, designed by M/M (Paris), and with by an interview with artist by Jo-Ann Furniss, embraces the world, work, and life of Gilbert & George for a future of young rebels.

The J. W. Anderson X Gilbert & George: Capsule Collection launches exclusively in partnership with MATCHESFASHION.COM, available online now.
