DL1961 Spring 2013 Collection
DL1961, purveyors of the beloved XFit lycra denim (that, like, lets you do squats and stuff in your jeans) sent a New York inspired collection down the runway the in their first ever New York Fashion Week show. It focused mainly on the pants, which for men were slim fitting and straight cut, shown rolled to about a quarter inch above the ankle. Raw denim in both clean and distressed form were seen as were clean washes of pale blue, khaki green, maroon, peach, turquoise, lemon yellow, mauve and beige. But the highlight was the white waved patterned pair—a most welcoming, subtle yet loud, iteration of XFit Lycra denim.
