It’s Been A Long Week: La Dame De Coeur
As true believers of the work hard, play hard mantra, we present you with It’s Been a Long Week, a weekly column aimed at awarding some liquid appreciation to you for just being yourself, dammit. Make yourself a glass or two on us, you deserve it.
If you want yourself a swanky cocktail in NYC, the Baccarat Hotel Bar is just the place. With a sultry dimmed red lights, fabulous French glassware made by Baccarat, dandy menu, and chic company, and you’ve got yourself a good time. The drinks themselves are a story of their own so pull up a bar stool and we’ll share spill some beans on one of the bar’s favorite: La Dame De Coeur.
Ingredients:
- 2oz Dalmore 12yr scotch
- 1oz Montanaro Rosso vermouth
- .75oz Cappelletti
- 4 dashes orange bitters
- 2 dashes angostura bitters
- Rinse laphroaig 10yr scotch
Preparation:
Rinse glass with Laphroaig. Mix all remaining ingredients in a glass beaker and stir. Strain. Spritz with orange peel zest and discard. 1 spray of Laphroaig on top.
