Faith Connexion Enters a New Age
Faith Connexion, a once-anonymous “tribe” of designers and creatives, is rethinking its structure. Long an anarchic collective without formal leadership, the group that seamlessly melds punk rock with urban wear with everything in-between is looking to Nikola Vasari for more guidance. Vasari, a Parisian, is known for his work at Saint Laurent and Balmain, and for his adoration of embroideries and stones. This change doesn’t mean Faith Connexion is losing its ethos—far from it. Under the streamlined politics of Vasari, the group will be able to push further than ever into the idiosyncratic. With an ever-broadening roster of collaborators from broad walks of life—including hip-hop legend Swizz Beatz–Faith Connexion is growing, not changing.
