Versace Takes the Desert for Cruise 2020 Campaign

Let it be known that 2019 was the year of the Yee-Haw Agenda. Whether it was the Southern charm of the longest-running Number 1 song ever or the increasing number of cowboy boots that were spotted at all the major fashion shows, country was the trend no one really saw coming. And to round out the year, Versace is joining the action with its own Western-themed campaign for Cruise 2020.


The campaign comes in the form of a short film, The Heist. In this mini-spaghetti-Western, models sport the decadent Italian designer while wreaking havoc in the desert. At only 30 seconds, the film has everything: fast cars, beautiful women, flawless animation and sound effects, and a non-linear structure that would surely make Tarantino proud.
