Raf Simons reinstates fresh-faced model Luca Lemaire for round II in the Spring/Summer 2014 campaign for his eponymously named Belgium menswear brand. But instead of a plush bed of greenery to fall onto (in the footsteps of Guy Boudin’s famous model death pose) like last Fall, Lemaire appears strong; commanding over the rustic scenery despite surely being out of place. It is this juxtaposition of the luxury and the real world—this interplay of fantasy and nature—that solidifies Simons as a a top designer for men’s fashion and has us hungry to start shopping.
