Major League Soccer and Adidas have revealed a lineup of 2020 jerseys ahead of the league’s 25th season. The collection honors 26 teams across America and will serve as official team uniforms for the next year. The presentation, called FORWARD25 as a nod to the league’s anniversary, featured an array of athletes, actors, and other celebrity fans modeling the jersey for their respective teams. Each jersey features the iconic 3-stripe Adidas design, which first debuted in the ’90s when MLS was officially formed. Each club, however, has unique additions to their own design. In similar news, Nike released its 2020 Olympic uniforms as the two iconic sportswear rivals begin their respective seasons.
Skateboard brand Alltimers headed north to Vancouver, Canada for their latest summer lookbook. The new collection — mainly t-shirts, long sleeves, shorts, basketball jerseys, and flat-brimmed style hats — features an assortment of fish graphics and karaoke lyrics strung across the back of one tee. It’s a classic collection that’s not too heavy on branding and instead delivers easy summer staples.
Along with the new clothes, the skate brand also released a ‘Sex Pills’ skateboard. All the proceeds from the deck will be donated to Planned Parenthood, hopping on the train of brands speaking up against attacks on women’s reproductive rights by the American administration. Even Miley Cyrus and Marc Jacobs are working for the cause with their own hoodie.
The Summer collection is available on the Alltimers’ site. Check out some shots from the lookbook below.
In the age of designer sportswear as everyday-wear, it’s easy to forget that athletic gear usually serves a function when being used for actual sports. But Los Angeles based skate brand Palm Angels takes this concept even further with its newest capsule collection designed with Under Armour that focuses on post-fitness recovery, which is totally as important. The range of fear features an innovative material — designed with infrared textile manufacturer Celliant — that absorbs natural body heat and repurposes it into energy that aids in the body’s recovery process. The collection of hoodies, t-shirts, sweatpants, and more can be worn both when working out or sleeping, rendering it a versatile and efficient addition to any wardrobe.
The Palm Angels x Under Armor will be available in select stores and online on April 19.
Victoria Beckham launched her first sportswear collection with Reebok last week, offering a fresh and chic take on the technical garments. Beckham, rarely seen without her pin-thin heels herself, wore trainers, black leggings, and a black cowl to the press preview of her first of many Reebok collaborations.

“Working out is a huge part of my life,” says Beckham. “So I’ve worn sportswear from every brand out there, but I’ve only just found what I really want, which is what I’ve done with Reebok, and I genuinely mean that.” The womenswear designer says she chose Reebok as not only did she want her pieces to be sleek and modern, but she also trusted that the brand would help make them as technically advanced as possible.

For Spring 2017, the Reebok x Victoria Beckham collection is composed of mainly unisex pieces with an integrated VB mark. Aside from elevated fabrics and performance, the pieces are made in hues of camel, silver and grey all highlighted with Beckham’s favored sunset orange. The result is a genuinely personal collection plucked directly from Beckham’s closet. The designer wanted a seamless transition from gym to the street and vice versa offering fluid items that will fit for both situations as she often finds herself in.
“I think it’s very me. I think it’s very honest.,” Beckham comments on her collection. ” It’s exactly what I want, it’s who I am. There’s not one single piece in this collection that I wouldn’t wear myself. It’s very honest.” With at least two more collections to come from the creative duo, even David Beckham is sure to sport the workout gear du jour.

The bold and beloved Adam Selman (famed for his retro-inspired sunglasses notably and frequently worn by Dua Lipa and Rihanna) has ventured into sportswear with the launch of Adam Selman Sport (or A.S.S. if you’re into that). The unisex range combines notable sportswear sensibilities, including loud 80’s influences that wouldn’t look out of place in the iconic ‘Call On Me‘ video, to the sleeker, more monochromatic look that’s dominated Instagram feeds over the past few years. This is highlighted by featuring playful tongue-in-cheek graphics that spotlight the ASS-branding alongside a number of subtler options that could easily transition from gym to office to club — there’s a little something for everyone. Additionally, core pieces from the collection are made with recycled nylon and polyesters, while every piece is packed in sustainably sourced packaging. So, it’s good clothing that’s good for the planet and will hopefully make hitting the gym a little easier amidst the January crowd.
Adam Selman Sport is available now on Net-a-Porter.com. Check out some of the looks below.
Clothing start-up WARDROBE.NYC has released its second collection of premium basics, with an exclusive sneaker designed in partnership with Adidas. The first direct-to-consumer luxury label debuted its first line last fall, and the second edition, Release 02 | Sport, places an emphasis on activewear. The 10-piece collection, which was designed in New York and made in Italy, includes a T-shirt, track suit, gym bag, and a pair of Adidas Yung-1 sneakers in a light monochromatic color way with an exclusive gum sole.
“A collaboration with Adidas allows us to speak to a new audience, and introduce a unique concept in luxury sport,” said co-founder Josh Goot in a statement. “The Yung-1 captures the moment in fashion. At the same time it stands as a future classic, reflecting our own approach to design and modern dress.

Opening Ceremony is dropping their second collection of pieces for their ongoing TORCH series where it releases limited-edition sporty heritage items monthly. The word TORCH evokes the spirit of the Olympics, and the line does exude a strong and sharp Olympian look — the varsity jackets and red, white and blue details add a preppy All-American vibe. It wouldn’t be the first time the brand dabbles with Olympic merch, since they installed a pop-up shop in the Brooklyn Museum last summer to celebrate the 2016 ceremonies. Now we really want OC to design the US Team’s uniforms at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Fingers crossed.
New key items of the color-blocked minimal unisex collection include the Nylon Reversible Puffer Jacket, which includes a bandana-inspired print, and the Warm-Up Track Suit. For accessories, the line is rounded up with berets, totes and fanny packs. Along with the OC’s collaboration with Columbia, TORCH is perfect for those looking to add more colorful and casual options to their usual winter wardrobe. Check out some highlights in the slideshow below.
The second collection will be available tomorrow at Opening Ceremony stores and online.
The allure of Japanese fashion label kolor, as the name suggests, is its wide color palette: “kolor is color,” explains creative director Junichi Abe. Now, in partnership with adidas for a third collection, adidas by kolor debuts its most colorful, vibrant, and electric collection yet, merging fashion with performance-enhancing sportswear technology. The collection features a range of sports shirts, shorts, sweatpants, and trainers, all made with adidas innovations such as Climaheat, Climachill, and Boost technology. Each piece is accented with neon green, orange, or metallic silver, and the shirts feature adidas by kolor’s iconic mirror silver foil across the clavicle. The trainers are the crowning jewel of the collection, boasting lime-green adidas stripes and a silver polka dot pattern across the fabric. The range arrives on the heels of the brand’s autumn/winter 2016 collection and is yet another release from adidas that promises optimal sports performance and style for the fashion-conscious sportsman. The collection carries the tradition of the previous collaborations, which featured the legendary adidas sports technology coupled with kolor’s futuristic style. Together, the brands vitalize and beautify the human body in motion.
The adidas by kolor collection is available in select stores and online now.
I’m no string theory conspiracist, but there are a few things that get me going. I mean REALLY going. The latest update in this series involves an ongoing, life-paralyzing obsession with everything Raf Simons and a (sometimes confusing) appreciation for cali-girl songstress Katy Perry. To put it simply, they’ve reached a point of complete inception, and I truly think they might be the same person. But how, you ask? What brings these two, seemingly different, worlds of high fashion and girls kissing girls and liking it together? How could one mid-40 year old Belgian man and an American pop star be the same human? One word, no uppercase letters: adidas.
Evidence A. Perry has rocked the activewear brand on and off the stage, in music videos, and magazine shoots in all of its lives: adidas Originals, adidas Sports, and, of course, adidas x Jeremy Scott.
Evidence B. While there hasn’t been a direct link to Simons’ own label, the former Christian singer has been known to have another kind of Christian moment every now and then. That was a Dior joke. Interesting that Simons (or maybe secretly Perry herself) is the Creative Director of the fashion house.
Evidence C. For his second adidas x Raf Simons sneaker collection, the Fred Perry-collaborator seems colorfully obsessed on the loud, whimsyness of comic illustations. Using the exaggerated aesthetic as inspiration for loud logos and crazy forms. Katy Perry has her own comic book. Coincidence? Of course not!
Lastly, Evidence D. Who really likes pink THAT much. That’s right, you know who.
Okay, so maybe this argument wouldn’t hold up in an actual court of law… and I guess there’s not that much pink on the shoes…but take a look below at some of my favorite selects from the adidas x Raf Simons Spring/Summer 2014 collection while listening to Teenage Dream, and tell me you’re not in heaven.
The adidas x Raf Simons Spring/Summer 2014 Collection will arrive in adidas retail locations soon.
Garment-dyed tees, striped pima cotton rugbies, and contrast sleeve softball shirts are just some of the key players that make up the colorful roster of Shipley & Halmos‘ quirky new sportswear line, S&H Athletics. While new to the the market—like, it just became available online yesterday—the collection calls upon aspects of vintage and traditional sporting uniforms, and blends these elements with the playful whit and high quality design the brand is known for. Preview some of our favorite pieces below, and see the rest on their website or offline at a retailer (such as Bloomingdale’s, Colette, Ron Herman US, and Fred Segal) near you:
Male model of the moment (and of our hearts), Shaun Ross stars alongside Jodie Smith in LA street wear brand Joyrich‘s latest lookbook and fashion film for Spring/Summer 2014. Beneath Jeremy Scott-inspired jerseys, more printed gold fabric than M.I.A. could dream of, and a harmony of athletic wear and on-trend graphic eccentricism, Ross stands powerful, alluring. We’ll take one of each, please, along with a plane ticket to LA!
Confession: I hate going to the gym—not something super hard to deduce if you’ve met me—but, I do love the clothes you get to wear to work out. Punchy sneakers, motivationally-loud logos, and elastic waistbands—what more could a human want to wear to feel comfortable? I’m of the most lazy school of fashion. Exercise gear does fluctuate in style, though, and sometimes it’s just… too much. No one wants their 6 PM vinyasa yoga class to turn into “The Best of EDM.” Luckily, Club Monaco‘s new capsule collection with Reigning Champ plays off the Canadian heritage of both brands: meaning simple design, great fit, and surprise: a reissue of CM’s original logo (the first time in over a decade). Available at ClubMonaco.com now, the collaboration includes a blanket, robe, zip front hoody, pull over hoody, crew neck sweat tops and sweatpants. Happy working out! If you need me I’ll be standing by the juice bar watching other people sweat.
