Italian designer Giuseppe Zanotti just launched a new line of sneakers. The new “Urchin” style is mischievous, non-conformist, and made to accommodate a fast-paced city lifestyle, emphasized by the rubber 3D studs on the sole of the shoe.
“I’ve always been inspired by the energy and pulse of the city,” Giuseppe Zanotti said in a statement. “Whether its Tokyo or Shanghai or New York, the common thread is a non-stop dynamism mixed with an independent attitude. The “Urchin” encapsulates that vitality and unorthodox mindset.”
The sneakers have a light and flexible sole and are made of a soft neoprene material that seamlessly takes the shape of your foot. On the sides, the sneakers are lined with side zippers that resemble the classic Giuseppe hardware, and are available in three colors: black with a subtle green and red trim, white with a red and orange trim, and vibrant orange with black outlining and white trim.
The “Urchin” sneakers are now available in Giuseppe Zanotti stores and online. Check out the designs below.
Another fashion tribute to celebrate Michael Jackson’s birthday (which was on August 29th, btw), Giuseppe Zanotti launched 2,000 limited-edition pairs of numbered sneakers. His children, Paris and Prince Jackson, also kick-off the auction for the No.1 sneaker, a one-of-a-king, ruby and diamond-studded pair of shoes expected to go for $30,000-$50,000 at auction. All proceed will benefit The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation. Final bidding will take place at New York’s Hard Rock Café on November 9-10.
In the meantime, the other 1,999 pairs will be available at Neiman Marcus, NeimanMarcus.com, select Giuseppe Zanotti stores worldwide, and GiuseppeZanotti.com mid-October, retailing for $1,295.

Prada
Photographer Willy Vanderperre brought Prada‘s latest 365 images to frigid life, expanding the brand’s multi-verse for Fall/Winter 2017. Inherently thematic and entitled Denouement, the series, featuring model Kerkko Torbjörn Sariola, utilizes the finality of its name to portray a barren wasteland where only fashion survives.
Giuseppe Zanotti
Giuseppe Zanotti held nothing back in the release of its latest creation, the prickly Manhattan midtop. As bristly as its namesake city’s citizens, the rocker lace-ups journey down a similar path carved by the brand’s new hardcore aesthetic, stomping into Fall with assertive elegance.
adidas
Tennis hotshot Alexander Zverev wore the latest release from adidas tennis and singer Pharrell in US Open-inspired images shared by the fitness fashion giant. A mixture of classic and contemporary, the cable-knit/primary colored pieces embrace the youthful turn of the summer sport’s newest star.
Dior
Dior received a grayscale update in the latest visuals from director Johan Sandberg. The Kris Van Assche-designed pieces shouldered the NEWAVE Fall 2017 messaging in powerful command, the portrayal of disenchanted youth an all-black depiction of totalitarian depth.
A brief moment of inspiration and impulse is the driving force behind Giuseppe Zanotti’s Backstage Capsule Collection, a stunning line of bold hot pink footwear. Among the Italian shoe brand’s latest release is its streamlined sneaker, THE UNFINISHED, inspired by the pre-show magic of a music concert. The kicks come with the brand’s signature double side zips and contrasting white laces, together with a rich velvet texture to set itself apart. Stealing the show is its deep saturated color-tone, achieved through flocking, a hand-sprayed process performed by specialized artisans. A testament to modern street-style and Giuseppe Zanotti’s own creativity and glamor, the series is a celebration of individual style and a stark display of character.
The Backstage Capsule Collection is available online now.
Pairing a soft, iridescent tonality with scorching intensity, Giuseppe Zanotti launches its Autumn/Winter 2017 campaign, featuring American models Miles McMillan and Bella Hadid. This time around, the luxury Italian shoe brand has opted for a bold and sensual set—think a deep ruby red backdrop against contrasting black geometrical shapes. Shot by Mario Sorrenti in New York, Giuseppe Zanotti has stolen glances with the evocative prints, giving life to a line of embellished bliss.
Giuseppe Zanotti has expanded its New York City flagship on Madison Avenue, making it the largest outpost in America and one of the biggest in the world.

The 1,700-square-foot-stretch features all of the high-end brand’s products—including ready-to-wear and men’s shoes—in the renovated space.

The enlarged flagship represents Mr. Zanotti’s qualities of ingenious, elaborate, and innovative designs that push originality and artisanal technique. Marbled floors, metal and brass detail, and white paneling spotlight the embroidered merchandise with a contrasting light, creating a modern tone for each store entrant.
Punk rock ‘n’ roll meets high-end cool in Giuseppe Zanotti’s newest collaboration with the Korean pop star G-Dragon, from the South Korean group Big Bang. A proven fashion icon, the musician—one of the most influential people in the Asian music industry—is known for constantly reinventing his image. The new collaboration embodies both Giuseppe Zanotti and G-Dragon’s mantras of creating fashion rules rather than simply following them.
Fusing their artistic ideas, the duo were able to flawlessly create two unique styles in colorful and just-black colorways. G-Dragon’s distinctive edginess and vibrant energy was infused with Giuseppe Zanotti’s underlining elegance to craft a timeless and classic design in both an oxford and a loafer silhouette.
“We came up with a star product, which is glamorous and versatile at the same time because it is suitable to wear with a number of different outfits,” says Giuseppe Zanotti himself. “The styles are unisex and made of tiny hand-applied fragments of glitter mounted on a rubber sole which remind me of some of the rock bands of the ’80s. What is really special behind this concept is the lightness that perfectly balances all the elements without losing their formidable elegance.”
The two styles will be available in October online and in Giuseppe Zanotti Design boutiques worldwide.
Few high-end footwear options elicit as non-obstructively superior of a fit response as these elegant—and admittedly toned down for the brand—boots from Giuseppe Zanotti Design. Constructed out of 100 percent calfskin leather in a sleek design—a sharp silhouette that towers with a 1 in. raised heel—the shoes quietly whisper “I have more money than you do,” without falling onto gauche branding elements that others of the same price point readily turn to for evidence. Instead, the Clarkes’ leather canvas contrast against the pair’s only embellishment, a gold pyramid above the ankle, for restrained power and subtle style.
A weather forecast that promises lower temperatures, the resurgence of pumpkin treats at your local coffee shop, and the descent of black-clad fashion mavens on Lincoln Center all contribute to the realization that it is fall in New York. One thing we’re officially excited about (other than the two words: humidity-free) is wearing boots again. And, if the Fall/Winter 2014 collection from Giuseppe Zanotti Homme is any indication, there will be plenty of styles to choose from this season.

Known for designing look-at-me footwear with attitude, the latest Zanotti Homme collection offers a range from a more traditional approach with a buttery-brown suede Chelsea style to a rocked out version of a similar silhouette in black that incorporates an all-over zipper detail. A black patent leather design (pictured below) that lands just above the ankle and features an elongated tongue is a standout and perfectly showcases the fashion-forward point of view associated with the brand’s DNA. View additional styles from the collection below and gear up for the return of the boot.
Red tentacles of velcroed nappa leather fold over the thick and contrasting white midsole of Giuseppe Zanotti Design‘s upcoming—and perhaps most daring—style to date…give or take a few millenniums. Inspired by rapper KiD CuDi, the Spring/Summer 2015-timed shoe takes on the same future-facing-forces from its muse—whose fifth studio album, Satellite Flight: The Journey to Mother Moon, released this past February—brings the musician back to the moon. And though Zanotti’s shoe may have been conceived in a galaxy far, far away, fortunately we only have to wait a season and a half for it to grace our world.
