1017 Alyx and Blackmeans Deliver New Leather Capsule

1017 ALYX 9SM has partnered with Japanese brand Blackmeans on a limited-edition fall capsule. Blackmeans is well known for its biker-inspired leather clothing often infused with hints of tribal influences and cloth cutting techniques in their designs.

1017 ALYX 9SM has reworked the classic leather jacket and jeans into a unique and edgy collaborative capsule. The collaboration’s centerpiece is a fitted leather jacket with an asymmetrical fit and kimono styled collar that is contrasted with hard silver details. Exclusive: John Varvatos Releases First Pride Capsule

Honoring the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots — when Black transwomen and drag queens famously fought back against police brutality and brought gay rights to the forefront of the American consciousness — John Varvatos is releasing a limited-edition 3-piece t-shirt collection that benefits amfAR, a non-profit that supports AIDS research. Each of the shirts features a rainbow emblem representing peace, equality, and inclusivity — themes that are integral to the brand as well as pride season as a whole. Additionally, throughout the month JV stores in New York City will display parts of the AIDS memorial quilt to further honor those we’ve lost in the fight for queer liberation.

The John Varvatos Pride capsule is available in select stores and online now.

A-Cold-Wall’s ‘Chroma’ Capsule is Pretty Fresh

Since launching in 2015, British designer A-COLD-WALL* has emerged as a major contemporary talent with its blend of streetwear and tailoring with a sociopolitical conscience. For its latest ‘Chroma’ collection, the designer explores themes of color saturation and the corresponding reactions to light. The series of hats, bags, light jackets, and sweatshirts is anchored with a sleek monochromatic base that is enhanced with crisp orange, purple, and yellow color prints. On top of that, a recurring triangle motif represents how a color’s purity becomes more restricted as reaches the end of the color spectrum. It’s a strong conceptual collection that isn’t afraid to get meta.

The A-COLD-WALL* ‘Chroma’ collection is available online now. Check out some of the looks below.

Check Out Adam Selman’s Wild Sportswear

The bold and beloved Adam Selman (famed for his retro-inspired sunglasses notably and frequently worn by Dua Lipa and Rihanna) has ventured into sportswear with the launch of Adam Selman Sport (or A.S.S. if you’re into that). The unisex range combines notable sportswear sensibilities, including loud 80’s influences that wouldn’t look out of place in the iconic ‘Call On Me‘ video, to the sleeker, more monochromatic look that’s dominated Instagram feeds over the past few years. This is highlighted by featuring playful tongue-in-cheek graphics that spotlight the ASS-branding alongside a number of subtler options that could easily transition from gym to office to club — there’s a little something for everyone. Additionally, core pieces from the collection are made with recycled nylon and polyesters, while every piece is packed in sustainably sourced packaging. So, it’s good clothing that’s good for the planet and will hopefully make hitting the gym a little easier amidst the January crowd.

Adam Selman Sport is available now on Net-a-Porter.com. Check out some of the looks below.
