Riccardo Tisci’s First Burberry Collection Lands at Barneys
Today Barneys unveiled its Burberry takeover at its famed Madison Avenue boutique, as part of the exclusive US release of the Spring ’19 collection. This marks the first collection by Riccardo Tisci, who was appointed creative director of the British label last spring and debuted his vision in September. The immersive in-store experience carries over the designer’s rich heritage, taking cues from the newly renovated London store, which was made over to encourage bespoke experiences.
“Barneys New York is thrilled to be the first to launch Riccardo Tisci’s debut collection for Burberry,” Daniella Vitale, chief executive officer and president of Barneys New York, said in a statement. “We can’t wait for our customers to be the first to experience the new era of Burberry, both in our stores and on Barneys.com later this month.”
The Burberry Spring ’19 is available at Barneys New York and Beverly Hills and will launch online on 2/27. Check out a couple of the looks below.
