Onitsuka Tiger Collaborates With Christian Dada
As Onitsuka Tiger turned 70 this year, it announced seven collaborations with international designers. Its third drop is a collection with Christian Dada‘s Masanori Morikawa that launches on August 26th. The two combined the sportive aspect of the brand and Dada’s touch of adolescence in running sneakers, a jacket, and a few additional apparel items. Dada reinterpreted the iconic Rebilac Runner in their own signature color block. The result is true to dadaist standards with surreal features like the image of a crawling serpent. An additional jacket is featured in the collaboration as a light ’90s tribute with a loose silhouette. The jacket comse in three colors with matching pants. Joining their efforts, the brands are presenting a twisted identity fusing the Japanese brand’s savoir-faire with the whimsical artistic expression from Dada.
