Maison Kitsuné Spring 2013 Look Book: Parisian on the American Coast

Maison Kitsune Spring 2013 Look Book: Parisian Surf

Maison Kitsuné’s très subtle approach to menswear gets filtered through the California surf for Spring 2013. At least according to them, which ok, was probably their inspiration. But the funny thing is, when you take their perfectly subtle French sensibility and process it through some California chill vibrations, somehow, it comes out looking very Cape Cod. No complaints at all here—east coast or west—any guy who appreciates a fitted and refined look made from the best fabrications on earth will have a hard time picking and choosing from the Maison Kitsuné Spring 2013 collection. The tri-colored polos are classic, the parkas (in royal blue and fire engine red) are scrumptiously clean yet original with the french flag motif on the jaw strings (which are actually more like ribbons), and the suiting—both in pant and shorts—are noticeably silky soft and pop with their anchor plated gold buttons. Definitely something to look forward to this spring but till then, you can get all Parisian in New York with their Fall 2012 collection (which, yes, is very that).
