Something Slick for Winter: Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay A9

B&O_BeoPlay A9_White_Front_and_Back_on whiteThe BeoPlay A9 wireless speaker sound system is the latest offering from Bang & Olufsen, who you already know from their hundreds of stores worldwide, collaborations with Audi and The Trump Soho, and their expertly fashioned state-of-the-art technology.  This 88-year-old start-up, as referred to be by Zean Nielsen (President of B&O America), will launch the BeoPlay A9 in the second half of November, just in time for the holidays. The striking, minimalistic design features a 2.1 bass reflex loudspeaker system that combines 5 speaker units and amps.  Comprised of 480 watts of amplification, the system includes adaptive bass linearisation, a patented B&O technology allowing the digital algorithm to constantly monitor bass levels, thus eliminating distortion.  This wireless badboy can be positioned in a corner, against a wall, or simply freestanding, and can connect wirelessly to an iPhone, iPad, or Android or whatever to wirelessly stream your music.  We’re loving the inductive/capacitive touch sensor, which allows you to swipe your hand across the sensor to control volume, and simply rest a hand to mute entirely.  The cloth speaker covering is available in white, black, silver, red, green, and brown. The BeoPlay A9, priced at $2699, will be available at Bang & Olufsen stores worldwide and online.
