Lalique Celebrates 130th Anniversary With New Collection

Lalique’s new crystal collection, Hirondelles celebrates the brand’s 130th anniversary. Inspired by the swallow motif, a recurring theme in founder René Lalique’s work, the swallow is a symbol of happiness and freedom.

At the center of the collection of sculptures, vases and lamps is the Hirondelles Grand Vase in sapphire blue crystal with platinum hand painting, limited to 130 pieces in honor of LALIQUE’s 130th anniversary.  The symbol of the swallow and its meticulously carved features translates in the careful and difficult job of crystal making. The two form an exact ensemble of elegance and tenderness, and a perfect centerpiece.

Another element in the collection is the crystal lamps with a halo of swallows. The shape of these is unique to the brand and an absolute statement maker. The birds are floating above the light as if attracted to the source but their flight is caught in blue crystal.

Smaller pieces are available at more comfortable prices and could be ideal gift because of their endless functionalities.
