KITH Partners with Onitsuka Tiger on Classic GSM Sneaker
The Japanese footwear brand Onitsuka Tiger, immortalized by a sword-wielding sweatsuit wearing Uma Thurman in Kill Bill in case you forgot, has partnered with New York-based streetwear label KITH on a release of its classic GSM sneaker. Inspired by classic tennis shoes, the signature style has been resurrected in two new colorways — green and red — and repurposed for everyday wearability with a smooth leather exterior enhanced by suede underlinings. If you want an unofficial souvenir from the latest US Open, the shoe is available exclusively at Kith’s flagship store in SoHo — which funnily enough is merely 3 blocks away from Onitsuka Tiger’s own flagship — and online.
