Inside the Moncler House of Genius Multi-City Takeover

Whether crafting opulent puffer coat gowns that are brought to life on the red carpet or partnering with acclaimed and flamboyant designers like Richard Quinn, Moncler remains on the pulse of innovation. For its latest, the Italian outerwear brand has constructed gallery-like temporary stores in Milan, Paris, and Tokyo, in an effort to showcase the work of emerging artists and act as an incubator for exclusive launches.

Overseen by artistic director Francesco Ragazzi, Moncler House of Genius is framed as a revolutionary retail experience, one that’s “fluid, dynamic and evolutive,” according to a press release. Each of the locations is stocked with limited-edition merchandise that’s been inspired by its home city — in addition to the label’s premium outerwear and other accessories, customers will have the opportunity to buy one of eleven T-shirts, emblazoned with city crests, from a vending machine while perusing art pieces displayed throughout the museum-inspired interior. A series of events, including panels and other initiatives, will also take place in each of the respective pop-up shops to further establish a sense of creative community among fans of the designer.
