Gucci Gives Beverly Hills Flagship a Facelift

Redesigned by Creative Director Frida Giannini, storied luxury fashion house Gucci recently reopened its new Beverly Hills flagship. Traditional motifs from the brand such as dark rosewood and marble remain integral in the store’s updated aesthetic, while new additions—ribbed glass, polished gold, smoked mirror, and smoked glass—recall the richness of the Art Deco era. A black cosmic marble staircase with integrated lighting connects the first and second floors of the 22,000-square-foot retail space, which carries both complete men’s and women’s ready-to-wear offerings for the season.
