Virgil Abloh Will Present a New Collection with Baccarat in Miami
After recently releasing a limited set of champagne flutes with Supreme, Baccarat is now collaborating with streetwear savant Virgil Abloh. According to a few posts on Instagram, the pair will debut a collection of fine crystalware in a new exhibition, titled “Crystal Clear” c/o Baccarat, as part of Art Basel Miami. The launch will take place in the crystalware maker’s newly opened Boutique Bbar and Lounge in the city’s Design District. The fusion of Abloh’s distinct industrial design sense (quotes and all) with Baccarat’s pristine glassmaking craft will be combined in a collection of home goods, dining ware, lighting fixtures, and more. Additionally, each piece is numbered and will be “made to order,” according to a release — exactly how many items will be produced has not yet been announced.
The Virgil Abloh x Baccarat “Crystal Clear” c/o Baccarat exhibition will open on December 3.
