TUMI’s First Designer Collaboration
TUMI has teamed up with critically acclaimed designer Dror Benshetrit for their first ever collaboration with an external artist. Dror, who has two Good Design Awards under his belt, has previously worked with Marithé + François Girbaud, Puma, Yigal Azrouël to name just a few. The result of his work with TUMI is an innovative and architectural collection of travel portage all kinds of hidden goodies to suit modern traveler. Most specifically, eight of the bags are transformative—a backpack becomes a tote, a briefcase becomes a laptop case. Also of note, TUMI has updated their signature ballistic textile for the first time since the 80’s, developing a brand new weave that interacts with light in a more aesthetically pleasing manner.
