For its Resort 2021 collection, Prada will show in Japan. While the Italian designer is one of the mainstays during Milan’s own fashion week, it’s now one of the latest designers to travel to Asia to stage its presentation. Back in 2018, Dior presented its first Pre-Fall Men’s collection in Tokyo to critical acclaim. Both Coach and Tommy Hilfiger have staged separate shows in Shanghai. As the fashion industry continues to be consumed on a global scale thanks to streaming and social media, legacy designers are no longer anchored to one place.
Further details and an actual location for the Prada Resort 2021 show will be revealed at a later date.
The latest in designer and driver collaborations — click here for an interview with Formula One champion Mark Webber about his work and the Porsche x BOSS collaboration — Tommy Hilfiger is releasing a capsule collection with Formula One racer and global brand ambassador Lewis Hamilton. Dubbed TommyXLewis, the new collection is a mix of extreme sport and everyday style. Based around a color palette of rich warm neutrals, the collection infuses some street elements, like sneakers and beanies, with more contemporary preppy-attire, like plaid shorts and rucksacks and plenty of shirts, that the American designer has built an empire on.
The TommyXLewis will be available in stores and online on September 2.
Tommy Jeans Fall 2019 features an array of pieces made from 100% recycled cotton for an upgraded heritage denim look. Emerging artists Sunni Colón, Glowie, IV Jay, and Saba were shot by photographer Axel Morin and videographer Chris Read in London sporting the attire during intimate performances for fans on social media. The campaign ultimately displays the pieces in action embodying the energy, confidence, and authenticity native to the brand. The line features plenty of denim pieces as well as corduroy pieces. Many include buttons, patches, and rivets from deadstock material to reduce waste.
KITH and Tommy Hilfiger are at it again with a new partnership for Spring/Summer 2019, with a collection of over 70 pieces inspired by Tommy Hilfiger’s own love for the tropical island of Mustique. The collection includes an array of entirely new silhouettes and designs which are truly a mix of the two designers, including the iconic Tommy Hilfiger monogram and KITH’s take on a particular style of athleisure. Naturally, the campaign was shot on the island itself.
Kith x Tommy Hilfiger SS19 releases Friday, May 24th at all Kith shops and at 11 AM EST on Kith.com.

For Spring/Summer 2020, Prada has announced that it will present its men’s collection in Shanghai this coming June.
“China has always occupied a prominent place in Prada’s imagination: in particular, the city of Shanghai and its rich cultural life. The attitude and identity of Shanghai, its dynamic fusions of past and present, old and new, are sources of constant exchange and interest,” Miuccia Prada said in a statement.
The Italian label joins the growing number of American designers opting to stage their shows in the Chinese capital. Recently, Coach presented its Pre-Fall ’19 show there while Tommy Hilfiger presented its Fall ’19 show there last September.
As part of the ongoing ‘Tommy Now’ traveling showcase, Tommy Hilfiger debuted a new collaborative collection with British Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton during Shanghai’s fall fashion week. The line is a sequel to the designer’s last successful collaboration, Tommy X Gigi (of Hadid fame) which launched back in February. Hamilton grew up seeing Hilfiger worn by music icons like Snoop Dogg and Aaliyah, so the new line features a balance between the classic Hilfiger pieces and the sporty style of Hamilton, resulting in an on-trend mix of athleisure. Check out some of the collection below.

Classic American brand Tommy Hilfiger has officially announced an adaptive clothing line for adults with disabilities. The brand has been teasing an adult line ever since their success of their adaptive kidswear which was first released in 2016. While Hilfiger previously partnered with adaptive clothing brand MagnaReady and nonprofit Runway of Dreams to bring the children’s line to fruition, the new collection for adults was designed exclusively in-house.
The collection will include magnetic and velcro closures, as opposed to the traditional buttons and zipper fixtures. Pant legs have been restructured to accommodate leg braces and seams have been altered to ensure an easy dressing process every time. The collection — comprised of 37 garments for men and 34 for women — is made in the label’s signature red, white and navy hues.
Hilfiger is one of the biggest names to lead this initiative. Hopefully more brands will follow suit.

Couldn’t make it to Tommy Hilfiger‘s all out Californian bash for the second Tommy x Gigi installment? The brand’s Instagram has you covered with a glossy highlight reel that shows every slow-motion celebrity (Lady Gaga on the sidelines, Fergie performing live), Coachella-esque drum circle, and, on-site screen-printed tee. The party to end all parties, it would most definitely seem.
John Targon and Scott Studenberg put a major dent in the fashion world this NYFW with a rock-glam, off-the-cuff metallic line. The Baja East creative masterminds celebrated the occasion by partying hard at NYC’s Kola House, high-kicking alongside fellow club rats Maria Borges and Winnie Harlow for a night of memorable, if not slightly destructive, fun.
Bruce Weber stepped into the ring once again to shoot the latest rustic, wildlife-infused campaign for Italian fashion house Versace. After overtaking the Kentucky countryside for Spring/Summer 2017, the iconic photographer turned his lens to the brand’s masculine counterparts, branching off the previous campaign with this behind the scenes look at the upcoming men’s Spring/Summer 2017 visuals.
Jump for joy with Diesel‘s new Spring/Summer 2017 campaign. Make Love Not Walls embraces Artistic Director Nicola Formichetti’s preferred explosion of energetic marketing, similar to his eponymous brand‘s more eccentric aesthetic. The images, a cut-and-paste collage of mood board, flower-power hope, profess an “all love, no hate” mantra, a youthful display that bites at the heels of the current political state and the brand’s own “louder and prouder than ever” proclamation.
Star of “The Young Pope,” Jude Law took some time away from the Vatican to pose for Prada Spring/Summer 2017. Photographed by Willy Vanderperre, the images are a byproduct of the brand and Law’s Prada 365 film, a re-imagining of the classic campaign through five different visual identities, including Pathways, Terrain, and Exits.

Karl Lagerfeld continued Chanel‘s tradition of honoring the house’s partners with its 13th Metiers d’Art in Paris. Pharrell Williams, the new co-owner G-Star RAW, himself sat in attendance, outfitted in Chanel’s signature tweed jacket and pearls and acting as a surprise celebrity guest model alongside Lily-Rose Depp, who opened the show.
The art world elite flocked to Miami this week for a look at some of the most groundbreaking and envelope-pushing exhibits that marble, acrylic, and everything but the kitchen sink could cook up. Baja East jumped across the pond for this year’s Fashion Awards (dropping the “British” moniker for a sleeker, all-inclusive rebranding), bringing a relaxed New York vibe to grace Royal Albert Hall. Of course, the army of Baja East Baes arrived in droves, everyone from Joan Smalls to Winnie Harlow wrapped head to toe in the brand’s designs.
