Skingraft Spring 2013 Look Book
Skingraft does the whole performance-art turned ready-to-wear style thing just right. As it should—head designer Jonny Cota didn’t come to fashion design in the normal way. You might say he shot out of a cannon and right into it, back when he decided to quit being a circus performer and start putting his mind towards more sartorial pursuists. And things have gone well for him and his business partner brother Chris Cota. They opened their first LA boutique back in 2009 and are now sold in stores like Kitson in LA, Atrium in New York an Isetan in Tokyo. Circus-LA-NY-Tokyo? It works.
