S.R. STUDIO. LA. CA., the clothing line by artist Sterling Ruby that debuted at this year’s Pitti Immagine Uomo in Florence, has released its second collection online. The latest range is a collection of workwear-inspired pieces partially derived from Ruby’s own sculptural work and exploring alternative fabric techniques, including dyeing, washing, and distressing to create a vintage look. Three jeans washes — white, black, and indigo — are influenced by traditional Western denim styles and history for a more traditional fit, while more experimental material processes are applied to create a deconstructed look.
