As true believers of the work hard, play hard mantra, we present you with It’s Been a Long Week, a weekly column aimed at awarding some liquid appreciation to you for just being yourself, dammit. Make a glass or two on us, you deserve it.

WHAT

The Boss’s Daughter from the Lobby Bar at The New York EDITION
Spirit masters Shannon Stiggins and Jack Zemke of The New York EDITION‘s Lobby Bar—potentially the most extravagant entryway east of Fifth avenue—reinvent the sexy Clocktower venue with a new menu of must-have cocktails. Our drink of danger takes the form of The Boss’s Daughter, a combination of sour liqueur and sweet edibles that hopefully won’t get you into too much trouble the morning after.

HOW

Ingredients:

      • 2 oz. Hennessy black
      • 1 oz. Lime juice
      • 0.75 oz. Lemon Cordial
      • 1 egg white
      • 2 dashes of charcoal
      • Edible flowers
