It’s Been A Long Week: GG Manhattan
As true believers of the work hard, play hard mantra, we present you with It’s Been a Long Week, a weekly column aimed at awarding some liquid appreciation to you for just being yourself, dammit. Make a glass or two on us, you deserve it.
Rooftop season here we come! We’ve survived blizzards, monsoons and tropics this week, and hopefully that’s a malfunction before spring hits us full course. The Roof at Viceroy Central Park is a must on any New Yorkers list of places to go as it uniquely offers unobstructed views of Central Park. With swanky leather decor and views like that, you will want a Manhattan that’s for sure. Here’s the recipe in case you’d like to recreate it at home.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Woodford Reserve bourbon
- 1 oz. Carpano Antica vermout
- 3 dashes of Angostura bitters
Stir over ice and strain over 2” cube in rocks glass. Garnish with 3 brandied cherries.
Voila. Happy Thursday!
