Helmut Lang Embraces Pre-Owned Pieces
Today, Helmut Lang announced a new project named Certified Pre-Owned, which provides customers a chance to purchase select rare and vintage pieces from the personal collections of a few Lang super fans. The first installment features pieces from the late Jim Walrod, a renowned American curator and design guru, ahead of an upcoming initiative launched by the Walrod estate. Pieces from the drop include an assortment of jackets and knitwear spanning from 1995-2003, so mainly pieces designed by the eponymous designer himself before he retired in 2005. Needless to say, these items will make a welcome addition to any personal fashion archive.
