COMING SOON: NIKE AIR FORCE 1 BY DOVER STREET MARKET
One word: Gimme. Ok, well that’s not a real word but that’s like what keeps running through our head as we look at the limited edition Nike Air Force 1 that’s coming down the line. The occasion is the sneak’s 30th anniversary and the sporty summer which is just about upon us (maybe you’ve heard, the Olympics are next week). So Nike and partner Dover Street Market checked the history books and created the DSM AF1 using a material called Ventile—a naturally waterproof, fire and tear resistant woven that was developed in 1948. The Ventile allows the sneaks to go refined, as in slim, as do the classic navy and ecru colors. You can snag a pair starting today if you happen to be in Tokyo’s Ginza and on July 28th at Dover Street Market in London. The rest of us will have to wait till mid-august when they become available to the rest of Europe, US and greater China.
