Alexander Wang Releases New York-Inspired Menswear
Alexander Wang, the godfather of model-off-duty style, has just released some key pieces inspired by classic New York-style. One Yankees-inspired hoodie has “NEW YORK” sewn across the front body of the hoodie while an accompanying “WANG” print displays the designer’s knack for self-branding — this can also be seen on a belt that has a gold-plated “W” as its buckle. Another standout is a black turtleneck sweater embroidered with the silhouette of a pole-dancer and a graphic kaleidoscope-like print of gold watches pair that makes for a perfect ‘going out’ look. Last month, the designer released a line of sneakers with Rickey Thompson.
