Tom Dixon Unveils Shop at ABC Carpet & Home

British design brand Tom Dixon establishes its contemporary edge with a new shop at ABC Carpet & Home in New York City, its third United States location. With a refurbished 850 square feet, the space combines a striking mixture of materials and soft lime paint to contrast with the harsher stained timber wall, a perfect background to aptly display the visionary furniture. Aiming to expand, the location will not only feature many of the favorites the brand has put forth into the design world, it will also play host to a slew of new products—the SLAB desk, an all purpose work station made from solid Oak, the functionally engineered Boom task light, the TANK whiskey decanter ornamented with hand-painted copper, and the handmade STONE candles with rounded heavy-weight containers. More than just a sales floor, the space will also host private client parties and product launches for society’s craft elite, rounding out a happening scene filled with the best of design.
