Today in Camo: US Alteration Tiger Series
Since everyone’s got something to add to the camo conversation lately, why not look at one of the smaller brands who’ve been doing the print for more than a few seasons? US Alteraton, the indie baby of Barracuda founders Mighel de la Barracuda and Candie Weitz, shows their dexterity in the print with a standout spring collection they’re calling “Tiger Camo,” featuring a trove of hoodies, sweatshirts, T’s and pants. The brand’s take this season, gives the print a tiger-stripe meets california surf meets french impressionist feel, with quirky, painterly patterns and performance-minded add ons like jaw strings on waist and sleeve openings.
