The Standard, the ever-trendy hotel group known for its two New York hotel locations and party hubs (as well as options abroad including the Maldives) around the world, just dropped a collection with Swedish outerwear brand Stutterheim. The heritage brand, known for its raincoats, designed a new rain jacket, bucket hat, and waterproof tote bag inspired by the hotel’s stylish aesthetic. The exterior of the coat is monochrome and stamped with a tag in The Standard’s signature red — the hood on the rain jacket also features a red lining (see pics below). Whether facing off against a rainy day in New York or London’s own chilly weather, the utilitarian yet contemporary rain gear is the perfect finishing touch to any look.

No°21 embedded its contemporary vitality into the sleek and practical Stutterheim outerwear by collaborating with the Swedish designer on a limited range of raincoats. By reinterpreting the pieces with contrasting details that augment the utilitarian look of the garment, it ensures the wearer will stand out even when the skies are grey.
Making its first foray into ready-to-wear, Swedish sock giant Happy Socks has collaborated with Stockholm-based Stutterheim on a special line of rain coats. The signature coat is printed with a large dot pattern, emblematic of the sock label’s penchant for bright and playful designs. The minimal yet kooky pattern is a contrast to the utilitarian look of the Stutterheim piece, but it’s a welcome change of pace just in time for fall. Oh, and it’s general neutral.

Swedish outerwear brand Stutterheim has once again teamed up with Marni for a third collaborative collection. The Scandinavian label previously teamed up with Marni last year, and has also had collaborations with others brands such as Alpha, Novesta, and Band of Outsiders.
In the latest effort, Stutterheim’s signature raincoat gets a sleek update. Available in two different coat lengths, the onyx raincoats come in rubberized cotton uniquely detailed with yellow stitching. The bright stitching seen throughout the seams and pockets add a pop off color to the otherwise monochromatic coat. Additionally, a matte black band is present in between the shoulders adding a subtle contrast of materials on the back of the jacket.
The collection is available online now for $990-$1,100

Backpacks are the undisputed staple “it” item for men this season, and the new release from Japanese bag designer Taichi Fujimatsu’s AS2OV and Swedish premium rainwear brand Stutterheim proves it. Uniquely functional with pops of delicious color, the two labels release an exclusive limited-edition collection that takes the Japanese brand’s three bestselling pieces – the clutch bag, the daypack, and the backpack – and drenches them in the strength and agility of Stutterheim’s rubberized cotton for a release of dramatic new textile. Highlighting the usual suspects of colors for the Swedish brand – Petrol and Burnt Orange – each bag is easily identifiable and stands on its own in a roundup of this season’s best offerings. Contrast here is key, with colors clashing in a delightfully symphonic way, broken up only by solid construction and expertly placed zippers. This collection is one for the accessory history books.
