Need Supply Co. Launches Original Brand

Need Supply Co. debuts its clothing line, NEED, a group of ready-to-wear pieces with classic silhouettes in polished neutrals. Although the Richmond, Virginia-based store—which started out selling vintage Levi’s before expanding to carry men and women’s clothing and accessories—has been open since 1996, the new release is the company’s first foray into a brand of its own. Founders Chris Bossola and Gabriel Ricioppo view it as “foundational,” clean, label-less wardrobe staples for any season or occasion, and the timeless shapes fit seamlessly into the store’s already impressive assortment of clothes from Neighborhood, Obey, Theory, and more. The garments also reflect the label’s commitment to quality, with each piece being made in the U.S. from 100 percent cotton.
