Juergen Teller and Paul Pogba for adidas

Newly signed adidas athlete Paul Pogba and renowned German photographer Jurgen Teller have teamed up to release a series of photographs, some of which are to be featured in an upcoming zine made in collaboration with the global athletic brand.

The photographer traveled with the French-born soccer player for an intimate portrayal that follow’s Teller’s signature, up-close-and-personal style; he’s shot the likes of Björk, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and most recently produced a photobook with Kanye and Kim Kardashian West. Adidas is Pogba’s first sponsorship, which includes, in addition to the photos, his first boot, the laceless ACE 16+ PURECONTROL. The upcoming zine and full set of images will debut at a showcase in Paris, just in time for the UEFA EURO 2016.
