Look, shopping for yourself when just about all of down and mid-town New York is without power, water and now, gasoline, may not be a good look that soul/spirit thing we’ve heard about, but still, New Yorkers are resilient—as is life. So, maybe do your part before you go buck wild on this genius “gilty union” in men’s fashion (Penfield is currently donating $10 of every web purchase to the Red Cross and you can do so yourself without the impetus of capitalism). Think Hamilton 1883 shirts (A Camo Sportshirt was $225 but will be on GiltMAN at $110) to UNIS pants (Orig: $268, Gilt MAN: $139) to Golden Bear outerwear (their varsity jacket is marked down from $198 to just $99). So actually, in some twisted way, if you’ve got it – maybe send the difference to Red Cross…or just wire it to your buddy in downtown NYC.
