G-Star Raw Introduces Sustainable Denim Dyes
G-Star Raw, a pioneer denim brand, makes product quality and style just as much a priority as it does sustainability. The brand’s latest effort is an ongoing collaboration with EarthColors by Archroma to create upcycled plant-based dyes for their sustainable denim collections.
Archroma creates dyes from saw palmetto leaf leftovers and beetroot waste that are traceable from earth to the final product. The collaboration features new styles of denim, shirts, t-shirts, and sweats for men and women in three natural colorways. The Dutch brand further focuses on sustainability by making those products from eco-friendly fibers including recycled cotton and TENCEL sustainable washing techniques. With sustainability parading through fashion, it is important to substitute all garment processes into ecologically responsible ones quickly.
