Bottega Veneta Opened its First Store in Miami
In a series of brand firsts, Bottega Veneta is expanding its retail presence with a new store in Miami’s Design District — this store marks the Italian’s label debut in the city as well as the first flagship to be overseen by creative director Daniel Lee, who joined the designer last June.
The latest outpost is a sun-filled open two-story boutique that evinces the Art Deco style that pervades the coastal city. A sprawling spiral staircase, made out of pink plaster and marble, is the main focal point of the interior. Speckled Terrazzo Palladiano flooring covers the ground level, while the rest of the space experiments with a balance of raw versus refined materials, including concrete and brass, plywood and leather, resin and reclaimed wood. “I wanted a one-off store that fused Miami with Montebello creating a space with a modern sense of colour, calmness, and joy,” Lee said in a statement.
Bottega Veneta’s Miami store is open now at 135 NE 41st Street, FL 33137.
