Bode Opens A Cabinets-of-Curiosity Store Downtown
Designer Bode just opened its first store in New York with an all-American-inspired interior. Wood-panels envelop the space which stocks the brand’s unique pieces, quilts, paints, among other things. Located on Hester Street, the store was designed and features commissioned furniture by Green River Project — founder Emily Adams Bode imagined the space as a place where patrons can take their time and feel as if they were accompanied by a personal shopper. And so, the space also features a car sofa with a blanket with a matching chair for extra comfort.
Bode is open now at 58 Hester Street.
