Y-3 Reveals New Chunky Kaiwa Sneaker

Y-3 is releasing a futuristic version of the unavoidable-trendy chunky sneaker dubbed the Kaiwa (which means ‘conversation’ in Japanese) first seen at its Fall/Winter 2018 runway show. The trainer is an upgrade to the brand’s 90’s principle of comfort through geometrics. The shoe features a classy black leather finish that is contrasted by a bubbly, bold sole that gives the illusion of giant bubble wrap.
The Kaiwa will be available at Y-3 flagship stores, online at Y-3.com, and select retailers worldwide on August 3rd.
