Vilebrequin Swim Takes Over at The Delamar

St.Tropez-based luxury swimwear brand Vilebrequin transformed Connecticut’s The Delamar hotel into a côte-d’azur waterfront fully equipped with custom pillows, coasters, and all summer essentials.
The pair share similar values of elegance and a natural joie de vivre in-between coastal living, boating, and terrasse sauntering in summer’s essential: a pair of trunks. Vilebrequin created a seamless progression from wearing their iconic suits on the water to then dining at L’Escale where the pillows are also made from swim trunk fabric. The hotel’s waterfront restaurant was fully reimagined into a a Southern French cafe with a meticulously curated menu, tons of rosè, and, as the designer hoped, “the lightness and happiness of St.Tropez.”
The brand originates from family tradition (by a father-son team) and still continues to focus on impeccable style, class, and a staple of luxury that they found at the hotel in Greenwich. In fact, Vilebrequin has been neighborly with the hotel for quite some time as there is a store in town. So while summer’s still in full swing, it’s time to head out to sunbathe in a your favorite pair of swim trunks.
