THOM BROWNE LAUNCHES THOM GREY, AVAILABLE NOW
Thom Browne has given us one of the best reasons ever to love the “Back to School” season of Fall 2012— a brand new, exclusive capsule collection of university inspired outerwear, trousers, oxfords and knits. The collection will, of course, be infused with the designer’s inimitable sensibilities that have won him one of the pillars of modern American style, but, says Thom Browne, “Thom Grey exudes an autonomous youthful streak.” Salivating already? There’s more good news. His wares will still be on the expensive side, however they’re toned down for his younger fans who may have to shell out for books and other college-y necessities. Or not. You don’t need to show a student ID or anything to buy. Outerwear will retail from $795-$1,100, jackets from $725 to $1,000, trousers for $325 to $550, knits from $450- $600, and cotton Oxford shirts starting from $195. The Thom Grey collection will be exclusively available starting this month at retail partners that include Barneys New York (where, look, some pieces have already been made available!) , Harrods in London, the Galleria in Seoul, and I.T boutiques in Hong Kong and Beijing.
