Read This: Henrik Vibskov—The Book

The term “creative genius” gets thrown around way too cavalierly these days though few will argue against such a sobriquet being applied to Henrik Vibskov. An inimitable fashion designer who successfully balances the outlandish and the stylish (please refer to any of his Paris shows)…an innovative musician who plays drums on tour for avant electronic outfit, Trentemøller…a fanciful artist whose work has been shown at places like PS1 MOMA, Sotheby’s Gallery New York, Palais de Tokyo in Paris and the ICA in London—the innovative force that is Vibskov has managed to achieve the kind of imaginative trifecta that truly only manifests once or twice in a generation. And soon, we’ll have a book that puts it all together for us. Coming in June, Henrik Vibskov, is the first comprehensive gathering of the the artist’s works. Aside from functioning as a visual gallery (and amazing inspiration), Vibskof himself has written personalized descriptions and explanations that will provide insight into the world he has created. With everyone leafing through the works of Vibskov this summer, we’re excited to see what, if any, affect it will have on the world of fashion in the near future.
