Pyer Moss and GREATS Reveal New Sneaker on Runway

With some bass-thumping music in the background, New York-based athletic fashion label Pyer Moss debuted its latest collaboration with sneaker co. GREATS on its Autumn/Winter 2015 menswear runway show—another milestone for clothing label—during New York Fashion Week.

Mixing sporty swag with high fashion sophistication, the collab takes the form of the Pronto: a cool runner composed of heavyweight Italian suede, smooth Italian nubuck, ballistic mesh, and reflective detailing. The style pulls from both brands’ sport inspiration and undeniably native NYC aesthetic, and emerged after months of sourcing luxury materials. Special details include Pyer Moss’ signature perforated leather, embroidered “94” branding on the tongue, and a black and white melange lining, all placed on top of a translucent 100% rubber Vibram freeride outsole.
The shoe will debut with Pyer Moss’ full Autumn/Winter 2015 collection next fall.
